Abstract
Mission is the embodiment of the great commission, and the expression of all the Bible's message, both the Old and New Testaments, about the mission of saving human life from sin. However, there are things to consider in carrying out this divine mission, namely the metaphor between missionaries and culture. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and literature analysis. The conclusion obtained, missiono Deo is always in contact with culture, so that culture does not need to be disputed if it can be a bridge into the gospel.
